Barbara W. Hearst

Ms. Hearst is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina and for many years has made her home in both Charleston, South Carolina, and the Hamptons on Long Island, NY. She is a graduate of Stephens College in Missouri, and spent many years as a media consultant in New York City. She is the founder and president of B. Hearst Designs, a for-benefit company that supports the Good4Women Foundation.
Ms. Hearst is a well-known artist who has exhibited in solo and group shows. She is a past board member of Graham Wyndham, a child welfare agency, which she served for ten years. In addition, she has been a member of the board and executive committee of the Institute for Cancer Prevention, formerly the American Health Foundation. She has organized events for the Nature Conservancy and participated in the rehabilitation of schools in Tanzania.
