Larry A. Wheeler, Ph.D. is currently Senior Vice President, Biological Sciences, Discovery Research, at Allergan, Inc. He has been with Allergan since 1982 and previously served as Assistant Director, Director and Vice President of Biological Sciences. He received his B.S. from the University of the Redlands in Redlands, CA, and his Ph.D. from Loma Linda University, in Loma Linda, CA. He later completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. Dr. Wheeler also has been Assistant Professor and Pharmacologist at UCLA. He is presently a member in good standing of both the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics as well as the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. He has published widely and holds 25 patents.
