Debora K. Grobman, Esq.
New York, New York
Ms. Grobman is a glaucoma patient who became active in The Glaucoma Foundation after she learned that she has normal tension glaucoma and significant areas of vision loss. Ms. Grobman had over 25 years of combined experience as a prosecutor and white collar criminal defense attorney before she retired from the Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel law firm in New York City in 2007. She retired to do the things she always imagined doing "someday", facing the fact that "someday" was now. She also wanted to do active educational outreach on the subject of glaucoma. Ms. Grobman was formerly an Assistant District Attorney, Senior Appellate Counsel, in the New York County District Attorney's Office and spent two years on the faculty of New York University's School of Law. She received her BA from Brooklyn College; an MS degree from Bank Street College of Education; and her JD from Fordham University. She has been a member of the Board of her New York City co-op since 2002.
