SUMMARY:Your Genes & Your Vision: Understanding Glaucoma Risk with Dr. Louis Pasquale and Glaucoma Patient Hillary Golden
DESCRIPTION:A glaucoma polygenic risk score (PRS) is increasingly recognized as an important single-number summary of glaucoma\, reflecting the influence of millions of genetic variants on the development of the disease. A glaucoma PRS is an ideal summary that will motivate patients and their providers to take proactive steps to prevent the downstream effects of glaucoma. This webinar examines how the glaucoma PRS is affecting both patients and providers.
