A graduate of Golden Gate University in hotel, restaurant and tourism management, Ms. Voelker specialized in meeting and convention management. For several seasons, she worked in professional summer stock theater on stage, off stage and in business management for the theater company. Ms. Voelker has established numerous trusts that help fund worthy causes. She also belongs to Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, which supports the Beta Sigma Phi Kidney Research at Stanford, Bay Area Lupus, United Scleraderma Foundation and Cystic Fibrosis in their area.
She is active in her local community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Pueblo Community College Foundation and working with their culinary arts department, taking them on trips to various cities for tourism and culinary experiences.
