Honor and Memorial Gifts

Remember the special people in your life by making a gift in their name for a birthday, to say “thank you”, or to express sympathy for a loved one.

Tribute gifts are a wonderful way to honor someone while supporting important glaucoma research and education programs.

The Glaucoma Foundation will send an acknowledgement to the individual(s) being honored, or to his/her family. The gift amount will not be disclosed. For more information email mscooley@glaucomafoundation.org or call (212) 651-2501.

As per our most recent audit, the overall program spending ratio was 80%. This means that for every dollar spent, 80 cents went towards program services.

Directing Memorial Gifts

You can advise family and friends on how to make a tribute gift in an obituary.

Sample language:
“In lieu of flowers, gifts may be directed to The Glaucoma Foundation, 80 Maiden Lane, Suite 700, New York, NY 10038.”

The Glaucoma Foundation is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. Your donation is tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
