A glaucoma polygenic risk score (PRS) is increasingly recognized as an important single-number summary of glaucoma, reflecting the influence of millions of genetic variants on the development of the disease. A glaucoma PRS is an ideal summary that will motivate patients and their providers to take proactive steps to prevent the downstream effects of glaucoma.
