James P. Digan
Senior Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Baylor College of Medicine
James Digan, named Senior Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Baylor College of Medicine in 2018, has more than 25 years of experience in academic and hospital fundraising. He comes to Baylor after serving as director of the Zweig Foundation, a private family foundation established to improve society by supporting the areas of environment, education and health care.
Previously Digan was President of Nationwide Children’s Foundation and Vice President of International Outreach for Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Before that, he was President of the Rochester General Foundation in Rochester, N.Y.
Digan also served as Executive Vice President for Development and chief advancement officer at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He has held several other positions in academics and development and served as President and CEO of The Glaucoma Foundation from 2001 to 2002. He is a graduate of Colgate University.
