James T. Murphy, MD

Dr. James Murphy is a board-certified ophthalmologist, fellowship trained in glaucoma, focusing on laser-assisted and refractive cataract surgery with advanced technology intraocular lens implants and minimally invasive (MIGS), laser, and traditional/incisional treatments for glaucoma.  Dr. Murphy is actively involved in research and consulting in the IOL technology and MIGS spaces.  Dr. Murphy has a special interest in expanding access to clinical and surgical training via AI-powered real video editing, video simulations, augmented reality, and 3D video streaming, as well as AI-leveraged early detection systems for remote screening and earlier diagnosis of common ophthalmic diseases.
