Kenneth Mortenson retired in 2000 from Oppenheimer Capital, where he was a Managing Director. A graduate of Carleton College with an MBA from the University of Michigan, Mr. Mortenson began his career at Comerica Bank in Detroit, where he worked for 12 years before moving to New York and joining Oppenheimer Capital in 1981.

In addition to parents with glaucoma, Mr. Mortenson learned that he, too, was a suspect for the disease during a TGF-sponsored screening at Oppenheimer Capital some years ago. Mr. Mortenson also served on the Board of Partnership With Children for over a decade, a non-profit agency that makes social work services available to children in New York City public schools.
